Transfer of Airtel Sim Ownership to your Name

Transfer of Airtel SIM card ownership is possible at the Customer Service Center. You must first settle any outstanding dues on the account. The next step, will require you to fill out a fresh agreement form, with all the documents duly submitted.

If the customer is individual, then the below documents is mandatory.

  1. POA and POI is required from both customer (Existing and new customer).
  2. NOC from existing customer.
  3. LOA (Letter of acceptance) from new customer.

ID Proof Category: (ID should be issued by Indian government only. Documents like – PAN card Copy / License Copy / Voter ID / Adhaar Card / Passport etc.

Please note all documents to be self-attested by the customer.

If the Customer is organization, then the below docs is mandatory

  1. POA & POI from both parties needs to be attached.
  2. NOC from the existing customer. (In case Organization to Organization NOC should be on letter head of existing company and signed by the authorized signatory).
  3. LOA (Letter of acceptance) from new customer. (In case Organization to Organization LOA should be on letter head of new company and signed by the authorized signatory).
  4. Incorporation of Certificate.
  5. MOA (Memorandum of Article).

You may also need to fill out a Subscriber Enrolment form, on behalf of actual owner, and then, the transfer of Airtel SIM card ownership will begin. You will be re-issued a fresh SIM card under your name, and start using it post-activation.
