Transfer of BSNL Sim Ownership to your Name

You can Transfer the Ownership of SIM card. You have to visit bsnl main office branch. First of all you must write a NOC application in the name of the person who has the sim registered in his name.

Then you go to the bsnl main office branch in your city and tell them that you want to transfer the sim registration ownership.

They will give you a form, in this you’ll have to fill up the details of the person in whose name the sim ownership must be transferred.

After that you go to the bsnl office with the filled up form and the NOC application along with the following documents of the person in whose name the sim must be transferred.

• Identity proof
• Address proof
• Four recent coloured passport size photo.

One more important thing is that the person, in whose name sim was initially registered, must be present at the bsnl office along with his identify proof at the time of transfer of sim ownership.

This service is not free.The mobile number will remain same.The new sim which you get after the completion of name transfer will be activated in six to eight hour duration(this is bsnl operator)
